If you drive for CR England I guess the DOOM lights stay on all the time.

Remove the bulbs.
Lepton1 and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
i guess you are DOOM-ed
G.Anthony and joseph1135 Thank this. -
I really cannot say, other than to remove the bulb(s). I too wish there was an on/off feature for the dome light, like in my Toyoda.
But seriously, if you want the dome lights to stay off, as you allow a lot lizard to enter your cab and not have anyone see what you're up to, then removing the bulb(s) is your best option.Ditch Doctor Thanks this. -
no on/off switch? I can turn all my overhead lights off and open the doors, only lights that come on are the door lights
-
Just don't slam the doors too hard to get those "doom" lights to go off when you are trying to back into a dock off the street at 3am. I broke my drivers side window during my first week in a Cascadia and now everyone calls me She-Hulk. I can laugh about it now but it sure was embarrassing back then.

Volvo has an off position for the dome and door safety lights. But unlike my Toyota you have to turn off each lamp individually.
