I recently got my CDL, and i am looking at driving for Navajo. I was wondering what peoples experiences have been with them, or what their reputation is like. Basically anything someone that is brand new and doesn't know anything about the industry should know. Thanks in advance.
Any opinions on Navajo Express?

I am currently training with them right now. They have nice trucks. There Average Length Of Haul is around 900 miles. During training your trainer will run you hard. I ran 704 miles the last 24 hours. It was my choice. Seems like a good company I went to orientation in Jackson, TN and they staff over there is really nice. They will put you in your own room at a motel. And will treat you right for lunch =). But yeah no real complaints at this time just wish I was closer to home. I live in Syracuse, NY and my trainer is on a dedicated run from Denver,CO to Glendale, AZ.

I'd Kill for that dedicated run. I'm out of Tucson,AZ. How long do you need to be with them before you can run dedicated? How many miles will you be running a week after training? What about pay?

i'm not how long it can take to get on a dedicated run. I'm with a trainer right now I think he says he making .40 a mile but he has been here a while. I know they need drivers on that run. And I know they have the miles here. The way they drivers talk here you should hit 3000 a week. When your done with training and OTR I will be making .32 a mile but if you do on a dedicated run you could make more I don't know.

All I know is they have been around along time. If it's the same Navajo with the orange Indianhead painted on the side.
