On the application when you apply for a job, it asks you to list all tickets you've had within the last 3-5 years.
I have always done traffic school, online classes, anything I've needed to do to keep the tickets off of my record.
When I pull my record from the DMV, it doesn't show anything on there....
so my question is; what are these companies using to look up your driving record to verify what you have stated is true ? Is it the same one I can personally get from the dmv? Or do they have another way of getting it?
thanks for any answers.
Here's a question for you guys and gals

I thought they use your S.S. # and DL # to get your abstract. Could be wrong though.

usually it's just mvr. if it shows nothing. then you got nothing to tell.
i've never been asked for court copy. and i'm not wasting my time unless it was a really good paying job.
of course, we with cdl's, aren't allowed classes anymore. we get, we keep.BIGreem1985 Thanks this. -
Never list anything that is not on your DMV report. Virginia uses a 7 year report.

If other states don't do this, noone can expect a driver to get court record from every county in every state that does not. -
