ive been hiding in the shadows reading for a few weeks and now im looking to start a new thread on something thats been covered time and time again.

whats the policy on duis? ive heard so many different things on here about class A. like 2 in a lifetime youre ######/ 2 in twenty years is ok/ they only go back 5 years. i dont know who to believe.
i have 2 duis. from 2007 and 1997. a few pot charges in between those years also. i just want to know if i stand a chance as i really want to take a stab at driving. i just sold my lawn service and its time for the next 4 year plan. im hoping all the ####### choices i made when i was an ####### wont stand to blunder a possible future in trucking.
i live in florida and have looked at schools, narrowing it down to two maybe three. id hate to go thru school, eat up my savings just to find out no one will hire me.. that's it, thanks for reading. fire away!

The insurance companies go back to 5yrs to 10yrs at some trucking companies....
Try hitting a few companies up to see how it will go.....good luck

The only way I'd contemplate trying this out with your record is a company sponsored school and a contract. I doubt you'll find one, but it's better than spending $5,000 for a worthless license.

The arrest and conviction for dui never goes away from your background check.
