Has anyone seen this on HLN news, they apparently have been testing for a while. Although it is self driven there is still an operator on board.

I just saw it on the news myself, at the doctors office.

    "Limited access highways" (for now)'

frankly, I do not like this, and see no reason for it. There still has to be a driver at the wheel.

My question(s) however, does the truck need to be drug tested?

Does the truck need a sleep apnea test?

If the truck screws up, who gets the ticket, the DAC reported, and the PSP/CSA points?

Who do the cops cite in case of an accident?

I think this opens up a can of way too many worms.

There will be Sensors embedded in the roadway to prevent that from happening.

Will the Trucks go get bathes on it's own? Companies always hire the best hygiene personal and should be a mandatory destination. Have to keep company reputations !

What happens after the trucks start to get smart and develop emotions and feelings..

Someone cuts off Mr iTruck on the NJ turnpike, then he seeks revenge on a poor Christian family headed to Wednesday night bible study.. Not TOO far fetched..
