Are you paying for the school or going through a trucking company?

You might need a refresher course if you wait to long.

I would be paying out of pocket?

I'm thinking 4mths off max before going ahead with new job, but trying to balance it as to school scheduling.

You might want to call companies and ask them because most want recent OTR or recent grad. 4 months and I think you will be paying out of pocket again for a refresher course.

Maybe you should schedule the course to coincide when you will start driving?

Also, if you are hoping for tuition reimbursement, they are usually looking for 30 days since graduation.
