Flatbed Pay For The Amount Of Weight

anybody have job where you are payed by the weight your load is? I am looking into working for a company that does this. Do they take regular taxes out for fed/state? Any info would be great!

I never got paid by the ton or anything on the skateboard, thats a new one by me. Anyone else?

If they are like most places they will take the taxes out just like a regular job. I haul by the 100 weight, works out allright if you get the heavy loads, but make sure they have a minimum weight on every load. Some places we haul out of are 40k min. some are 46k. Also ask how much over weight the boss will pay the fine, because working like that makes you want to pile it on
