Does anyone know of a good piece of software that can keep track of HOS, without paying an arm and a leg?

I just need something that can keep track, and show me the hours I've used, so I can tell how many hows I'll recover without having to write it all down. I have a calculator that does the math, but the flaw in it is that you can't see the hours you've entered in. There's no way to double check and make sure it's right, or see what you'll recover at midnight. There's also no way to check for hours recovered tomorrow, or the night after, so doing a trip plan with it is a pain in the arse.

I don't have excel, and do not feel like paying MS $100+ for it either, so independant would be best.

    Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, I only got a trial version of Office with my laptop, so using Excel isn't really an option. I don't feel like paying microsoft $135 for a suite I'll hardly ever use, ya know?

Came across this software for HOS & daily logs. Offers full version as a trial for 60 days. The name of the company is Drivers Daily Log and they have a website.

Drivers Daily Log. There is a lot of stuff to get used to, but its not that hard. They have their own forum and product support.

When I got it it was $90 some thing.
