Why So Much Negativity For SWIFT?

I'm about to be going to school for Swift... but i dont think i've seen ANYTHING in this forum that was POSITIVE about Swift Transportation?

All this negativity towards this company is kinda making me worry...

So, what is it EXACLTY that makes this company so horrible? Should I even go through with making my start in the truck driving field with Swift?

This place has me worried now! LOL

Nothing personal here, but i am not going to make much of a reply since we just answered this same question in depth within the last 48 hours. Here's a link to the thread.

with your experiences. I am a driver prospect. I have heard nothing good about Swift and a few other companies. I have to wonder is it the truth or the bias of a particular forum.
My own research tells me I can get a CDL for free or little money. No indentured servituded for me.
When they have you on the hook for 2 years why should they pay you any respects?
I have searched several other trucker boards and this seems to me to be the best source of information that is valid.
respects,
Rev. Dennis in SE PA

No, it's not bias on any one particular forum. Go to almost any trucking forum, and you will get the same basic answer, though sometimes in much more colorful language than we permit here.

my bad, i must have overlooked that thread... thanks for the link!

Only thing I really got from it though, is that Swift makes new drivers trainers rather quickly? I know there has to be more then just inexperience that causes people to downtalk the Swift company so much.... can anyone relate with personal experiences? Anything?

Thus far my recruiter has been nothing but understanding and totally cool. I am really looking foward to going... that was untill I came to this forum... now I see it as people claiming to to be one of the worst companies... I dont get it!
