    Actually, its higher... I checked just now and starting pay for both Swift and CR England is $.26 a mile.... Schenider starts you out at $.29 a mile.

    Everything I saw on the Scneider website said 30 cpm...hmmm don't know.

    I was told that was slightly below industry standard, however now that I think about it, most companies start out around that.

    Roehl is another company that I hear alot of good about. They also have a $3,000 sign on bonus (don't know if it's for everybody or if certain criteria have to be met). Too bad they don't hire in my area.

    yeah I noticed that the western region was the lowest pay out of everywhere else... everywhere BUT the western region was 30 CPM

    Well I hope I hear back from them...

    Quick question.... I have a phone interview with Schneider, they said they need phone numbers of a few places, and one of them (Target Distribution Center) i cant find ANYWHERE... not online, not in the phone book... nothing... the other place went out of business...

    Does Schneider plan on calling these places to confirm i worked there, or what is that all about?

    Probably depends on alot of things, like if your history is questionable, they may call. If not, they probably won't.

    Oh they'll call alright. If the one places out of business your going to have to come up with a trade referrence for them. They have to check by law.

    I just got off the phone with Schenider, and my pre-employment interview went smooth. Everything is straight. I got my my old bosses personal cell phone number, so everything is good, and they said the W2 for Target will do for employment verification.

    I start school with Schenider in December!
