Cool! Let us (or atleast me) know how it goes!

Stay away fr CR England, unless you like waking at 0300 in the morning and having to stand in a refrigerated wharehouse. Every load is to a grocery wharehouse and they are the worst places to deliver to. Stick with dry freight. Also it's kinda hard to get much sleep when every 10 minutes the reefer is starting up and shaking your truck so bad it feels like a train just ran into the side of your truck.Plus you don't want to get suckered into that lease scam they have going.

Yup. Dry freight. drop and hook is the way to go! -
Grandma Debi has been at CR England for a week now. No Complaints. Paid for the school up front was less than $1000. She chose CR England over Stevens because of all the bad reports. Seems like if you just avoid the lease trap you can do okay. Spoke to several who have been with company a number of years and were positive.
Found a good way to do your own survey on this is to interview truckers who actually work for the companies at the local truck stops!
Blessings! and Best wishes! -
You've been there a whole week. If you say it's a great place, I guess that makes it so. Not to sound like a ########, but get in about three more months and then decide what they are or are not.
If you spent only about a grand on training, with no other strings attached, you did very good. -
Stevens or England? Which foot do you want to shoot yourself in?

I'm currently a cr truck driver I'm in phase two training which is been a second seat driver and get pay .14 cents a mile. I been with cr england for almost a month an a half and I just got my home time been home for 3 days now and I'm already getting calls on going back to work. It was hard to get my home time and when I did I had to pay my way back home (not nice) on top of that the checks are less than $500 when you start. Now while been home I did some research and swift came up and called me and offer me a job 30 days training (9.75 an hour) and after that I get pay .37 cents a mile and I'm home every two weeks. Now I'm a little bit undecided if I should go with swift for the fact I'm getting pay a lot more than cr england. CRE ain't bad company it's good to start off but the pay sucks and trying to be home is like the impossible. I'm dead serious no bs over here.

"But Six, Swift pays more money. Isn't that advancing?"
Going from one trainer truck to another isn't advancing, it's prolonging things. So is going home while training. GET THE TRAINING OVER AND DONE WITH AND NEVER DO IT AGAIN, OKAY? Then...we can move forward. And while you're researching, do your research on Swift. You have some recruiter injecting concentrated sunshine in Uranus.Toomanybikes and gentleroger Thank this.
