Me too... avid non-smoker, and I survived, more than survived, the chain smoking in the cab... and it was worth it! And I still pick his brain to this day... he is always accommodating, kind and informative when I call his cell and ask my 'What do I do if...?' questions of him!

I also went out with a smoker. Bedding and everything replaced afterward.

The stories of trainers from heck involve both sexes. Personally I would rather work with a man than a woman, many women can be evil. But I just don't want this woman to feel like she is being bashed from the start because she isn't comfortable sharing such close quarters with a strange man. Trucking is a unique working situation. Yes, men and women work together all the time in all kinds of industries, and women can do any job that a man can, but one on one in a truck with no witnesses could make anyone, male or female, a little nervous.

Just dont go 'prancing' around your male trainer in something skimpy...on 2nd thought, anything could turn him on!! ha ha 24/7 is a long hard row to hoe...LOL
