I agree with you. To those who said drop the cruise to 63 then he's gone, well apparently the was losing some major speed going up hill. Then you'd have to pass him again. He should've just fell in line imo. |

LMFAO, Gotta love Rodney Carrington. I screwed up really bad one time. I had won 2 free tickets to one of his shows right here in town. When the time came I gave them to a friend and went out of state to to see this female for a date.........gawd what a mistake THAT ho turned out to be. Damn am I glad I didn't get hooked up with her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My life would have been hell. The worst part is I should have stayed home and gone to see Rodney.

| I'm governed at 68 in theory. My rule is that if your fast enough to get even with the middle of my trailer (and not just stuck out there) then I'll back off and let you go. If I come up behind you and your slowing me down by 5 mph I'm going to pass you...especially if I can get by going up hill. I'm not trying to knock anyone. Headed into Baltimore I was 6 seconds behind another driver on Thanksgiving morning on 83. He was going the speed limit and would be only a little slow on the hills so I eased off and maintained my space. Was the best 27 miles of my trip.

| Unfortunately I see this every day. It seems to be a hooray for me and screw everyone else attitude. It is not just the truck drivers though. Many times it is the four wheelers that cannot seem to make up their minds what speed to drive. As others have stated; it is better to let the guy attempting to pass complete the pass by reducing your speed. Too much road rage on the road is caused by these rolling roadblocks and the fourwheelers get nuts around trucks. Be a professional and let these hot heads go by wether they be in a truck or a four wheeler. You will have less stress in your life overall. Getting in a pissing contest with another truckdriver in a governed truck just aggravates everyone else stuck behind the truck trying to pass. Whenever I see a driver slow down and let a truck go by I always give the driver a thumbs up and praise on the cb for being a "professional." |

| the passing thing I'm on a different planet than you guys, being a company hourly delivering lumber, home at night. My pay is so crappy that I drive 49 mph on the freeway, otherwise I would never get any OT. Sounds stupid, but everybody passes me all day long. once in a while I have to slow down to let a truck on or a train, but I am their problem, not the other way around. I'm sure to let the sleepers by whenever one is on my 6. I just stay to the right. plenty of space in front, many, many mergers and I don't care. my ego wants to speed up, but it costs me ot. dispatch never says boo about it. next year I will join the ranks of hurry-up/governed and grind my teeth with ya.
