ABS light on the dash, or the one on the trailer? My dash light comes on quite a bit with some of our older trailers. Occasionally the light on the trailer will come on too, but mainly the dash light. According to our mechanics, all that this means is that the ABS isn't working, but the brakes would still operate just fine.

Is it safe to drive i am here on home time under a load but could take it to one of our terminals on my way out Saturday

If you're that close to a terminal, definitely stop and have it looked at. Even if it's nothing, at least the burden is off your shoulders.

It is on the dash i just took it around the block to give my son a ride and noticed it came on when i parked it in the driveway

| The manual will tell you to get it checked out asap. It might be a sensor glitch, but if it is not the ABS stabs each brake and releases something like 50 times a second to keep from locking up and skidding.

Like I said, with some of our older trailers, my dash light is on as much as it is off sometimes. I'd take a good look at the brakes, do a pump down, and keep an eye on them while you're driving, but for sure stop at the terminal and have someone look at it. COuld be a loose connection in the pigtail, could be a short in the wiring somewhere...or it could be nothing. But as long as you have a mechanic look at it and sign off on it, the ball is out of your court, so to speak.

If this is an '07 Peterbilt, thats a common problem and you might be okay. Still bring it up to your company though to be on the safe side.
