Help 2 family riders

whats the word on having a family member tag a long with you after you complete your training. my dad is fixin to start his training and for weeks i've dreamed about going on the road with him. how long will it be before i can go out on the road with him. any info appreciated, thnx.

It is going to depend on the company, but 6 months seems to be standard for a new driver.

As the lady said, it will depend on the company. PAM would let you take someone with you after 30 days solo.

Our company only allows spouses to ride along and only after signing a waiver.

It depends a lot on the insurance company the trucking company uses. Many insurance companies do not want some one younger than 12 on the truck and the rider has to be an immediate family member.
