| It all depends on your appointment time to deliver, how far you have to travel, the preplanned route you take, terrain and weather. Not to mention traffic, break downs, and delays at shippers and receivers. Honestly, I don't think anyone cares as long as the freight isn't short, damaged, your on time and you get there safe. |

| I have found that the best pick-me-ups for the middle hours (2am to 4am for me) is to stop the truck and do a few of the things a person normally does at the start of the day. Brush your teeth, change socks and shoes and the like. Your head is in the habit of recognizing these things as day starters so let them be. I am always a little surprised how a change of socks and shoes, especially from boots to sneakers or pull ons to lace ups can make you feel altogether different.
