Do what you feel is best for you cause nobody knows you better than you. You say you have until March-08 use some of this time to research your options. Look at your families schedules maybe there is something going on to where you might have to wait or visa-versa. What ever the case may be it should be your decision not ours.

Now after all of that said. If I was to give any advise on this it would be..

I don't know if you already have your CDL or not so I will say you don't just for conversation. I would rather get my CDL on my own so I'm not obligated to the company for any period of time. If you can't afford it there are programs out there that can help you with this. Also most companies out there will reimburse you the tuition.

Now if you have to go through a company to get your CDL that is where you will have to do your homework and find a company that suits you and your family the best. I have heard good/bad on all companies that do this so what might have been right for them might be wrong for you. But try and find a company that you feel comfortable with cause you will be stressed out enough anyway. GOOD LUCK!!! I'm sure you will do the right thing.

OH YEA!! By the way after I did a lot of research and phoned everybody I knew who was in trucking I based my final decision on MY GUT FEELING!!
That way I can't blame no one but ME!! Again I say GOOD LUCK!!!

Just make sure you disclose the accident even though you weren't cited for it, it's probably still on your DMV. They'll also want to know why it was suspended in the first place. They are going to look back 10 years.

Make sure you tell them everything as they can see everything. I told them about a ticket and somehow it was showing up on their end as still outstanding even though I paid it off within a week or two of getting it back in 04. I ended up going back and forth with MN, NV and Schneider. Schneider even got on the phone with a gal from MN who argued with me and said it wasn't on there. I eventually was able to get a printout from NV saying it was paid off, otherwise Schneider wouldnt have taken me.
