Roehl EVO I starts tomorrow 12/28

I was not supposed to go out until after 1/1 but they called today and I accepted an earlier deployment. I know cmoore left today for his EVO I. If anyone is interested in hearing about it I will post as able. Otherwise I will shutup. Your call.

Good luck

Good luck, and keep us posted.

I hope you get a great trainer. Make sure he views you as his student--not his teammate.

Orientation Again
I wish I could have waited before going off to
Orientation Again
I find I meet dozens of new faces
Each pretendin' to be my best friend
Here I go
Orientation Again

Yeah I drive a Swift truck
And that means one thing
It means she's slow
It's a typical company truck
It's just all show and no go

I'm gettin' passed by Yella
And even Overnite
I'm gettin' passed by ever' body in sight
46 days on the road
And I'm not gettin' home tonight

No, my hometown's nowhere in sight
And if you think I'm pissed off
You're right
46 days on the road
And I'm not gettin' home tonight

Love pissing off those trucking company insiders.

Wow...I can't believe you guys are starting EVO I already. I haven't even transferred my CDL to my home state yet. I would like to hear how it goes as I'm probably going to be heading out sometime next week. Good luck!

garspete,

Be careful about putting web addresses or email addresses in your posts on this forum.
I believe dennis in se pa was permanently banned for doing that. No other reason I can see. He is a very good friend of mine.
I am one of the people who came through RDTC the week before cmoore. The school was great. Even if you end up driving for somewhere else I would do the RDTC all over again myself.
Not every company is right for every driver.
I hope I find that Roehl is right for me.

coaster,
Thanks,
I will post on!

respects,
jasonb

Hey miles,
Dennis was banned, but I am here. Comprende, ??
I am at 645 and 78 in Frystown, PA waiting for my first trainer. He should be here in a 1/2 hour or so.
I would like to know why dennis was banned. He tried to play by the rules.
I have my laptop and an aircard and an inverter. I will post updates as I am able. Sitting in my car as I post this.
respects,
me in se pa

b happy 2 hear about your experiences, and those of dennis, dcodd and cmoore. i see where dennis got banned, and i sent a pm to cmoore(unanswered).

Have a great time, and b patient with yourself, and remember that your time with any individual trainer isn't likely to exceed 11 days. Although I had no problems with any of my 3 trainers, I was more than ready to leave 1 of them behind. SO remember, you are only with them for a relatively short time. Like the good book says, "this too shall pass".
