Do you float or double clutch?

It seems a lot of experienced drivers are floating, but it was hammered into us as students to double clutch. This had me wondering how many driver's with at least 1 year experience are floating and how many are double clutching and if owning your own truck has any effect on wether you float or not. Please respond only if you have more than 1 year experience.
