2 much sitting

Hey I just got a call from a friend workong dedicated with Swift and said that this time of the year or as of right now its very slow.He also said
that they were considering putting him on Part-Time, but the OTR is still getting good work.

 

you sitting that long every time you get empty? i can understand that happenning now and then, but not every time. freight does usually slow down some this time of year, especially since economy is hurting a bit now.

 

Hey at least you are only having to sit a couple hours .... give a couple days a try .... LOL

Slow times ahead for some

 

You get spoiled when you get loaded that quick. I know the feeling.

But, the average is about 18 hours for a lot of drivers.

As long as you are moving within 24 hours, count your blessings. Especially this time of year.

I get another 24 it seems But, I'm at home. I can do this for about a week, before I have to question my job status LOL.

 

Yeah, 2-5 hrs ain't bad at all.....

 

I've sat weeks in FL with a refer. Most people would kill for a 2-5 hr down time.

 

slow .this is a running time of year should be beging to slow down

 

I guess you didn't notice the last entry on this thread was in January of 2008
