the best thing I can tell you is remember 1 thing regardless what company it is the trainers truck, the trainer will be driving it after you are on your way to your own truck. so they will probably be perticuler about how you treat the truck. and when the trainer gets stern with you like I have herd from other trainees, it's so they get your attention. and don't have to repeat themselves. no dout you learned good habits in school, try to practices them out on the road, don't start getting sloppy just because. the driving habits you use now will be hard to change later. also it is better to hug the fog line than to cross that zipper, just make sure there is a shoulder on the other side of the fog line.
BTW when another truck is passing you. lift up your hand and and acknowledge them with a pointing froward motion, some drivers when they pass you and don't get a wave will get in your space when they come over instead of allowing plenty of room. making you slow down messing up your cruise, pissing you off cas now you are slowing down and more trucks are passing you. it took me a couple of weeks to figure that one out.
