Company in Nashville TN

Does anyone know of any companys in Nashville TN that would give me training and then a local or dedicated run? I was going to go to the local school here in Arden but I could not get financeing and now my partner is being transfered to Nashville.

You're asking a lot of a company, even if you had a years experience.

You're going to be hard pressed to find everything you have stated above, in any city. Training, then local? Odds of that are slim to none. Regional, maybe if there is an immediate opening at the time you apply. But it's doubtful that it would be with a "local" company.

The state of TN has some of the best technical school driver training in the US. TN Technology Center in Nashville, one of the schools in the network is very affordable......and after the lottery grant, even better!! (Must be a TN Citizen for 6 months to apply) The Nashville location is PTDI certified, and you train on brand new Volvo day cabs and a Pete for the road training. Great instructors, and 220 hr program, which runs about 2 months of training. They only take 8 students at a time, plenty of time in the truck.
For local work, I have heard Pepsi hires newbies.....plus being so central, there are many regional jobs in the area. Hope that helps

Thanks Jonny. I have one place to go tomorrow that looks like they are going to give me a loan for the school I am keeping my fingers crossed. It will be about 2 months or so before we move to Tenn. and that would give me enough time to do the schooling here. What I would really like to do is school here and have a job waiting for me when we move to Tenn.
