Nothing to be nervous about yet! I doubt you're going to be driving down the road the very first day. Nothing to be nervous about anyway! Just pay attention to the instructors and most importantly...use some common sense. Driving a truck isn't hard to do, you just need to pay attention to what's going on around you. Good luck to you and just relax!:biggrin_25519:

You'll be fine. Just be aware of everything around you, take your time and you'll do ok.

Being a good driver isn't about how fast you are, it's about how safe you can be.

Congrat's on being approved for a CDL school, that's a great feeling to know someone belives in you and is welling to bet your going to complete the school requirements and get your CDL to become a Trucker. So, you will start tomorrow? that's very soon, hope you the very best, learn and ask alot of question make them earn your dollars.

Thanks you guys. Today was not hard at all we just filled out paper work and went over brakes, double clutching, and shifting. The instructer is nice and I really feel like I can learn from him. We had 10 students including me a husband and wife team me and the rest were men. Tomorrow we will go get our DOT physicals and I don't know what else. We did have a test on the 10 books that they gave us when we went to interview for the school and I passed it only missed one. That made me feel good because I was not sure if all I read in those 10 books over a week ago had sunk in but it did.:biggrin_25520:

Driveing a truck is not the difficult part it's all the other idiots around your truck that make it difficult.:biggrin_2552:

The scary thing is they want us to go get our CDL permits this week so that next weekend we can start driveing. The instructor said we will not do like someplaces and stay on the highways were its easy we are going to learn on little back rds and highways and all kinds of places. This is so exciteing and fun. We off to bed for me I got a early start tomorrow. Good night all and once again thanks for all your encouragement.
