| I think that all depends on the available trainers and freight. I waited for a couple of weeks for my first trainer but only because that was my decision. I had just finished RDTC and wanted to be home for Christmas and New Years. I'm sure if I wanted to go out right away, they would of made it possible. There's two different training evolutions with Roehl and not necessarily two different trainers. I know I could of stayed out with my first trainer (well trainers...because they were 7/7 guys) for the entire 21 day period. When I did go home after evolution one, I was back out in five days. Hope this helps! |

| thestreetdream, am I correct in assuming you were my neighbor while up there at RDTC? Anyway, I did it a bit different. It took me a while to get my DL switched due to the Holiday season. I told them I'd give them a call back when I got it done so we could arrange for a trainer to come get me. I ended up getting it done that night, but hadn't called them yet. The next morning I got a call from my trainer saying he'd be there in about 3 hours (SURPRISE!). Had enough time to pack up and such, and that was it. I stayed out the whole time for Evo 1 and Evo 2, with 4 different trainers, then had 5 days at home after I took my road test and had my truck assigned. I'm pretty sure that ride home was the scariest ride of my life, moving 10-15MPH on the interstate when your truck starts sliding toward the ditch. Anyways, you've got two different scenarios here. Some people have to wait on trainers, some don't. Just depends on freight. |
