rider insurance??

    after driving for two months i find out the hard way im not supposed to have a rider in my truck due to insurance or lack of ......my wife has talked to several agents with no success .....does anyone have any advice........thanks

    It's kind of too late if you've signed on with a company that has a no rider policy. If you haven't then it's a different story and all you have to do is ask the company about their rider policy. Alot of companies do but some don't. I hauled gasoline and it was out of the question. Most companies that do have the rider policy say the rider must be older than 7 years old. That's what I've seen anyway.

    do you know of any more companies that have a liberal rider policy, i know arrow and melton do, i want to be able to bring my girlfriend or someone with me every now and then for the company???

    KLLM will allow one rider over the age of 12. You have to have 6 months experience first, and then pay a small insurance fee.
