| I don't believe there is a limit on how many days but at the end of the month you would need to start a new sheet. |
| ||||
| So say if I didn't work the rest of April, I could just log it on one page as multiple days off?? At the beginning of May though I would have to start a new log book?? Do I have it right??

| Yes. Then if you have additional days off, you can put them on May log.

| Legally you can put 6 months on one log sheet. DOT does not state how many you can put on one log sheet. It's usally company preference to do it by the month since we throw away logs by the month. However if the company has a scanning log software and it's making a picture of that log for all days on that one log sheet they really don't need to make drivers fill out one log for each month. Also to clarify many mislead drivers. You don't have to use one log book per month. You can combine months in a log book. It is not recommended since the DOT can go back if they want to and look at all pages. However if you are not doing anything wrong then what is there to worry about. (f)(10) Recording days off duty. Two or more consecutive 24 hour periods off duty may be recorded on one duty status record
