Logs are easy. You just have a couple of rules that you need to learn plus get the hang of filling a log book out, but as far as math it isn’t Algebra. It’s adding and subtracting and being able to tell time. If elementary math is too hard for one to do then one can use a calculator.

If you have comman sense and can manage 2+2= and 2-2= then logs are np. If not then you'll probably end up has one of those horror stories.

Probably the biggest problem comes from drivers that try to "argue" the law with an LOE.

Why is common sense so damned uncommon?

Rule #1 about using a G.P.S
You must first be SMARTER then the G.P.S

Rule #2 Sadly a lot of drivers are not.

And even IF you have problems with 2+2 (yeah, I've known drivers like that - can't think of any other reason they got the count wrong on my delivery), there are options. One of the ones most commonly suggested on this board is called Driver's Daily Log.

Just takes a computer...

If you work for one of the increasingly rare companies that won't accept the printout logs, you can easily transcribe from the computer to one of the pre-printed logs - and be dead-on accurate.
