Dave,
How long ago was it that you went to school? My husband has gotten his class B back in APril but all the jobs he finds they want experience and it kind of hard gettting into that. This is why he has decided to go now for CDL school. Thanks for your insight. Maybe he will have to look around at some of the local companies as other to have suggested. -
I graduated from school on the 9th of this month.
I applied at alot of local jobs and got turned down by practically all of them due to lack of experience. There seems to be more opportunity in Kansas City though. I can get turned down by 20, but have another 100 plus to go.
It was when I was at the DMV, doing my driving test, that I met a few Anderson Erickson Dairy employees. They were upgrading from Class B to A. (At least they tried to.) That's how I got connected with them.
Again, there was always people coming into our school posting jobs on our bulletin board for Class B jobs. Lowes posted a Class B job too. -
I'm just thinking I should do a little OTR for the experience. (Job experience) -
