| FFE Please read and respond Hey guys I'm new and I really enjoy reading the posts on here about various topics related to trucking. I come to you seeking ANY information on FFE I know what some of you are thinking "There are already several post here about them" and I have stayed up many hours reading most of them. I am scheduled to start my training on june 9. As a matter of fact I have the contract laying on my coffee table right now, I havent sighned it just yet but I've pretty well made up my mind to do it. I currently have my class B CDL and drive a straight truck hauling trim and such for a local millwork wholesale company. I am 22 years old and have been around trucks since i was about 16 or 17 as a matter of fact my first job was at a GMC/Western star dealership. Not to toot my own horn or come accross as full of my self in any way what so ever but I feel that I do have a little more knowledge than the average newbie, again I mean that strictly from fact and in no way want to sound cocky. Now I feel pretty good about all of this there are some things I will have to adapt to I'm sure but if any of you guys with more seat time than me and I know there are many of you out there can give me any advice at all about life on the road versus a local/home every night company or info on FFE I would be VERY VERY greatful there is just the whole sighn your life away for a year thing but I believe in myself and feel that I can handle it. I was also wondering if any of you guys would be there the same time I am. I'll be attending the school in Arkansas. Thanks guys |
