So far I am really enjoying it. I love the way in the morning I can be in one place surrounded by hills and mountains and in the afternoon I can be surrounded by flat lands or desert. So far I have been to Onterio CA back to Tenn then to Salt Lake City, Utah which was one of the prettiest states I have ever been in, then to Phonix AZ then to San Diego CA then back to Tenn now I will be off a couple of days because my trainers truck needed to go in the shop. So far the scariest place I have driven was on I-8 past San Diego it was a very curvy steep mountain rd it had a 6% grade and speed limit for trucks was only 35 mph. Maybe some of you know where I am talking about if you don't and you know what the Gorge is in NC this place makes the gorge look like a walk in the park. When I finally made it through there I almost wanted to pull the truck over and kiss the ground I was so happy I made it. LOL the next scariest was in Dallas TX those people drive like they have a death wish or something. My trainer is great she doesn't not get excited or yell or anything when I make a mistake she just tells me what I did wrong. She must really have faith in me or God because she sleep the whole time I was going through the Mnts. in CA. LOL Sorry this is so long I just wanted to let anyone who is thinking about doing this that it will be an adventure and there will be scary times but also a lot of beautiful places to see. If any of you are out there and you see a black Colonial truck more than likely its me and my trainer because Colonial only has 2 black Volvos hers and a man that drives for them to so feel free to come meet me if were in a truck stop or if where driveing down the rd and I am going a little slow please have patients with me and remember that we all have to learn.

Sounds like your having fun. Good for you. I know the places your talking about and there are more out there waiting for you, of course. Remember, western mountains are bigger, but the "little" hills back east will spill you just as quick. West Virginia has a couple of dandies.

After you have traveled them you will remember all the names. Funny how the scary ones have neat sounding names that kinda stick with ya. Cabbage Patch, Lewiston Grade and on and on. Always treat them with respect and your gonna be fine.

You think Dallas is fun now? Just wait till the snow flies. They make diving into a ditch look like an Olympic event!

You could not ask for a better company.... they have always been up front with me. With Colonial, if you want to work, you make money. I found the toughest part is to not get stuck in the details, just keep the tires rolling and the checks start rolling in...... good ones!
