| I don't think so - may depend on the company's particular physical. So long as you can drive and shift with NEVER a problem you should be ok. Remember, CT is aggravated by repeated similar motions. Driving and shifting do fall under that category. If the motions are significantly different from what produced the inflamation in the first place, you should be fine. (I am not a doctor, nor do I play one on TV. I didn't even stay NEAR a Holiday Inn Express last night. But my wife is a Paramedic, and I've never caught her being wrong)

| Like lurch said,it shouldn't be a problem.Federal guidelines state only that you not have an impairment of a limb that might affect your ability to operate a CMV.If you and your doctor think that you can still grip and grasp an object on a constant basis you should have no problem obtaining a two year medical card.Keep the CT between you and your doctor. The company only needs to see a valid card, not your medical history.I also have a small problem with one of my hands,I crushed four fingers down to the first joint and they could not reattach them.Ligament damage caused my fingers to curl in but I still retained gripping power.I still pass the DOT physical so it shouldn't be a problem for you. |
