Going To Swift Truck Driving Institute August 6

Hey guys...I go to San Antonio for Swift Truck Driving School on August 6th...I am trying to see if anyone else on here is going anytime soon or the same time as me. I just updated this...C. R. England just emailed me again for the 3rd time and I talked to a Recruiter on the phone...whats the deal with these guys? Good? Bad? Evil?

Well CR England seems to have a reputation right now, not being a decent company to work for....

Swift on the other hand hasn't really had a bad rep far as a company to work for... They have had a rep of having bad drivers working for them. Meaning reckless drivers.. That would all depend on you if you are going to be a reckless driver though.. As I tell all people that I come across entering a school, take it serious... Don't hang out walking around the hotel chasing girls, going to the club ext... Be the one who is in the room with other people who want to study... You will have time to socialize after you get trained.. When you get there look around and pay attention to who really wanting to learn, and stay away from the people who just want to act cool ext... It's something that should be taken serious and if you do take it serious you should come out of class with the "knowledge" to "become" a safe driver..

Thanx joe. I have read 'take it serious' before, and i would. I would be the guy in the room studying all the time. and then making something to eat....study some more then go to bed. The hours you sit in class for the first week seem like the hardest part of the thing. Getting on 'the range' and getting some seat time, will keep the blood flowing.

I'm impressed........ most students are more worried about learning how to parrallel park and dock....... some are even worried about double clutching and floating gears.......
if all you have to be concerned about is a little reading so you can pass the permit test then this should be a breeze for you!

Good Luck!

(Oh, btw snowball.... have you already memorizied the 6000 words you will have to say for the pre-trip while you are inspecting about 150 items on the truck?)
