I have no idea what stickers you are talking about (can you tell I am a wannabe???) but I do have a lot of experience removing stickers and other materials from school property.............

The best thing I know of for the sticky stuff behind stickers is called "Goo Gone"......... removes gum, stickers, tape (even old duct tape residue), bandaide/medical tape residue etc.... and just about anything that is stuck to a surface..... I've never had it hurt anything and I've even used it on a car.........oh yeah...... and a cat that got tar or something on her!!

They sell it at your wonderful local Walmart (NOT my fav...or..ite... place).... they have it in several forms, gel, liquid bottle and spray bottle... I like the little gel or bottle best...... the spray bottle is too diluted for things I need it for........

Now, the Goo Gone only works on the glue/sticky stuff......... if you still have a sticker (especially those ones with metal in them) or something stuck on top of it you will need to use a hair dryer or some other heat source to get the sticker hot and then scrap it off...... (we just wait for a hot summer day here......lol......) then use the Goof Off on what is left.......

Okay......... lesson over.........

I use a Zippo lighter and have found that lighter fluid works well. And for me it is always close at hand.

The lighter fluid probably works as well.......... however, I work with emotionally distrubed teenagers so I'm thinkin' that having traces of lighter fluid left on myself......... just might not be a good thing!!

I just leave them on, but the new one next to the old.. If it is not your truck then I wouldn't worry about it to much..

Acetone will take any decal residue off. It is sold at Autozone, Home Depot, and the like.

Acetone is the same thing as nail polish remover, so next time you do your nails, just use some remover to get the stickers as well.

I hear Hot Pink nails are back in fashion for drivers this summer season.

Now you just need a little aluminum square to rivet to the cab extender and your set

I remove them every other year, that way with two on there the sticker doesn't rip so easy. A heat gun helps and our shop always has some of that goo b gone, don't know if it's the best but it works. I like the company's that display them like kills on a WW II fighter plane.
