I used mine camping... in Illinois, Wisconsin, Montanna, Alaska... Hawaii. (dont ask). No nice foam pad, I'm afraid.

I think the comment made earlier about the feet getting cold, is an issue either way. That's how I got sold on those socks

lol! I can see it.. fuzzy pink bunny slippers in a treestand.

Darn deer probably fall over dead from laughing so hard.

BunnyBOOTS, though, aren't made any more - outmarketed by an inferior product. (ask anybody who's worn both Bunny Boots and Sorrels.. Bunny Boots win, hands down. They just look dorky)

I've had my bunnies since my first year in Alaska, and I am NOT giving them up.

Baack, I found a gigantic sleeping bag, I'm 6'5" tall and pretty wide and it is still big it has a outer shell that is like carhart duck material and a heavy flannel inside..very warm and VERY roomy for big folk's like me. I can't remember the name but I've seen em at some major retailers.

It is a rectangle, and it is in my truck which is at a friends farm when home so I don't have to worry about fuel theft. I will try to run out there tomorrow and get the name off the bag. The thing is huge I have way more room than I need.

I have a rollup Coleman sleeping bag. Not sure what its rated at. I use that for the comforter. Although Im home daily, I never use it except in the winter and the roads get shut down...etc. When I got the truck Im driving, it came with a bed cover...not sure if other beds come with that or not. Plus my bed has a plastic or water proof type of covering on it instead of cloth, so the bedcover works great although if I have some extra money this winter, I might go buy some foam padding.

Most trucking companies have some sort of APU or Webasto type heater. It didn't occur to me to pre-heat the sleeper for quite a while until it finally clicked to do so. Mainly I do that because while the Webasto can make it a sauna in there, it takes a while to build up the heat.

Also, some people make that area a little bit smaller, more comfy by lowering the top bunk (if available) and hanging a bedsheet from that, making a very tiny bunk.
