Flatbedding in Northeast

What is the flatbed industry like in the Northeast during winter months. I am considering TMC out of upstate NY. What is the winter like for TMC drivers besides frickin cold......What might i expect for winter income.?

that I can deal with. The only shift I see is people avoiding it like the plague. I can deal and look forward to the challenge.

You'll tarp more loads in the winter. If your straps are wet when you roll them, don't put them in an exterior box or they'll be a ball of ice next time you need them. Another problem can be added weight from snow and ice. You gotta get out there and break the ice off with your winch bar. Oh, and wind. Never mind the cold, it's the wind that is truly brutal. On the plus side, you can feel like a real modern day bad ##### when you get done.
