Parking areas and 11 hours up!

Ok so you've spent alot of time at a shipper today and you're 11 hours are nearly up and you can hardly keep your eyes open.

There are no rest stops on the map only a sparse off ramp now and then.

What choices do you have where the cops will leave ya alone?

Forget about the on ramp in many states . It's a $300 fine in Indiana . Hazmat is really tough . No parking at WalMart or malls with them .

Ask the shipper if you can take your 10 hour break on thier property. Politely explain your situation and you might get lucky.

there is no one answer for this. sometimes you have to get creative to find place to park. i have parked in business parking lots acting like a morning delivery but leaving before they get there in the morning usually around six or seven

it all depends on where you are at. there is no one corect answer here. just use common sense. any place closed that has truck docks is a good start. or places big trucks deliver too. sams walmart kmart grocery stores and some hotels have truck parking and a plus with hotels is free wifi but only at certain hotels.

Many towing companies have gotten businesses to sign contracts authorizing the tow of any vehicle parked on the lot after the business is closed . This is a major ripoff

Nose up to a tree or light pole. If they are gonna tow make their job harder.

You need to carry black and tan paint and paint your truck to look like an armadillo. When the trooper questions you, tell him 'I'm not a truck...I'm a giant armadillo getting some sun.'
