Schneider 2 weeks on 2 days off

ok you might notice I have a lot of stupid questions, but I'm new to all this. Anyways my husband is working for Schneider, he works 2 weeks, gets 2 days off. Now how long would he have to do this for? Is it like after so long then he gets more days off or something along those lines?

They have a home run program where he can run 2 weeks then be home 1 week. Money is not quite as good but lots of home time.

He would have to share a truck on that program. maybe some other drawbacks too. But yeah, I was very interested myself.

As Smurf said, he needs to check into their other hometime programs. He can get more home time, if he takes a dip in pay, due to decreased miles/work.

So long as he remains long haul OTR. He will only get 1 day off for every 7 out.......forever. Some companies offer 1.5 days off for every 7 out. But very few.

I was told that I would have to do 6 months OTR and then I could move on to a dedicated account with SEARS. I would be able to get home a few nights a week but the miles would be a little less.
