| straight rigs I have been seeing a few straight rigs with sleepers on I-10. I haven't been able to catch the name of the companys. Was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about them? |

| One of the companies is Panther II. Well, I don't know if they run in your area but I have seen the around alot. Then there is one called Tri-State, but thats probably a regional thing thats around me. |

| The expediter companies mentioned do not own any trucks . Some contractors are O/O's in their own truck . There are many fleet owners that own several trucks and contract drivers , mostly teams to run them . It's pretty well agreed the best way to get started is to drive for a fleet owner rather than buy a truck and start in debt .The usual agreement is a 60/40 split . The driver gets 60% of the gross and buys the fuel . Most expediters stay out 3 or 4 weeks then take a week off . Google expeditersonline |
