Exclamation Finding a place to park your truck and trailor?
I am going to truck driving school in a week and am trying to find a place in advance to park my truck and trailor. I am from huntsville, alabama. Does anyone know of a place I can contact here or a website that list some places in each city? Any info would help. I have hit many dead ends calling shopping centers and areas with a lot of space.

Wish I could help...
I don't know of any such websites. All I can do is suggest the obvious. Take a ride and observe, trucks are hard to miss. Talk to drivers if you get the chance. I had a hard time also, and imagine many do. Good luck!

Pilot at Priceville. There might be some industrial areas around Huntsville, but I have not delivered there since 1999.

Check with your local construction companies, they have large lots to pull in their lowboys and store heavy equipment, and most arnt doing business on weekends.

Depending on where you live, check you local parking laws. My hubby is actually able to bring his full rig home and park on the street. The side across from where we live has a very long space that no one really uses, and our city laws allow parking them, just no idling over 15 minutes. He started parking at the house after someone got into his truck at the truck stop he was using and stole his power inverter and tire pressure gauge (they left the TV, DVD player and guitar that were sitting out though. Unfortunately, keys for one make will open doors on others of the same.

Could of been another person from his company some companies key their trucks the same to aid in recovery of abandoned equipment. The freightliner wll have one key, petes will have their own etc.

Check with the local Walmarts, Lowes, Homedepots, Shopping centers, malls. always check with management first, do not assume you can park there.
