Question about working for Swift

I know there is a lot of guys who don't like Swift but here it goes. How good are they about keeping you in your "comfort zone?" Because I don't want to go to NYC or the north east and I'm from there and moved to NC

Thanks in advance guys

if you work for any big company or go otr you will go to the north east region. there is alot of freight there and everybody goes there. i hate it too especially long island and manhattan. the north east is not all that bad it just takes patience and some getting used too.

They will keep you in your comfort zone. It really only hurts you though if you limit yourself to certain areas. If you go flatbed there is no comfort zones. I never had any time in NYC. Just through it on the Interstate, which is not too bad. I did not spend much time in Northeast either.

Also, if I'm stuck somewhere for a year until I get experience, I would like to be stuck somewhere I don't mind I guess

You would be better off looking for a local job with swift. If you are close to Gafney or Greer they have terminals with local drivers.
