I believe that your better quality companies will do the credit check. They would be stupid not to, particularly now that there are more folks looking for work than ever before.

However, from what you are saying, you probably will not have any problem here. OTOH, if you had a bankruptcy, or repossession, or had missed a bunch of payments, it would likely look very bad for you.

You don't need a stellar credit rating to get a job, you just have to show that you are a responsible person. And it sounds like you are.

Good luck!

Be careful of these companies . Some will rip you off . I tried a legit one but it didn't work very well . They made my payments but the payments were often late . I got married year into this program . My wife took it over and I got out of debt a lot faster . My main problem was being out of town a lot and having problems making the payments . I had plenty of money . With direct deposit for my pay and a joint account with my wife it solved the problem . (She's good at cooking and other stuff too . )
But back on topic , everybody knows insurance companies have a lot of influence on hiring standards and insurance companies do look at credit ratings .

I looked long and hard before i commited to Incharge, they treated me right, talked me though everything and took there money out on time and paid the creditors on time, and i was able to get ahead and not have to worry, plus every month they send you a statement, and like a little booklet on how to stay out of debt, by far, the best one out there that i have found
