Online Degrees?

Just curious if any of you have pursued your college degree online while on the road? If so, how has that worked for you? With ease of access to the internet and what not I was thinking that it might be an option for someone that was interested (myself).

I'm not on the road yet... but I have taken online classes, and have seen discussion on other boards from drivers who have done it. It's sort of a mixed bag of opinion from what I've seen.

The complaints I've seen have been about limited access to wifi and an internet connection. Another big one is the structure of the program... some degrees/classes reguire that you take exams by proctor.... meaning there are places that have been pre-arranged to take a test under supervision. That maybe a problem if you're a system driver and don't have scheduled time at home. The other complaint I've seen is about time.... if you're just starting out in driving you may not be able to juggle all the responsibilities of the road... and have time to pursue a degree your first year... basically, the idea is you'll be spending a lot of time trip planning... finding your nitch as a driver, resting, and not a lot of freetime in between, but who knows.

It would be hard to find enough time. A 10 hour break every day seems like a lot but it really isn't because you are so tired.
