Hubby's out on the road, so he's not here most of the time when I'm cleaning my car off. He does pretty good himself though. He get's just as mad as I do at the mobile-snowbanks.

Being a lifelong Floridian, I had no idea I was supposed to clean my car off in the snow. I was like Lurch when I was in Wisconsin for training, "Oh, look how cool my car looks with the snow blowing off."

My bad.

i agree that they need to focus on the laws that matter, but cant we get away with it cause it an act of nature??? how can they pass laws that we cant do anything about, i bet if those law makers had to climb out their windows to clean the roof off cause the snow was to heavy they would never concider passing such laws, but nooooooooooo they all have heated roofs im sure.
how do they give a ticket to a tree that losses a branch cause the snow and ice were to much weight??
how do they give a bridge a ticket for dropping iceicils on my roof?
how do they ticket the power lines that come down cause they couldnt handle the weight of the ice build up?? or how come the states can get away with NOT salting the rds and causing thousands upon thousands of dollars of damage?
but they will ticket the truck drivers for having ice fall off of our roofs, and they will continue to do so. the 4 wheelers wont get tickets, the truckers will.

I love it down here. I don't pay state taxes, I can buy alcohol on Sunday, plenty of fishing and it's a great place to come home to after tromping around up North.

I do have to admit I have a bad side, LOL. I used to enjoy watching that massive snowball rip loose from the trailer and see the cars that were pissing me off earlier, duck, dive, dodge, and such. LOL. Boy I have seen some mad people. It was funny to watch them get on the freeway, see your truck with all that snow on it...come heading for that just-washed BMW. I know, I know that's mean...but, hey, truckers need to be able to have some fun too!

Amen there! Christmas time, and you could be outside in shorts and a t-shirt! We lived in Bradenton, which is just south of Tampa Bay, and that was a relatively laid back area. Anna Maria Island, which is the barrier island that runs along Manatee County was pretty cool. The beaches aren't groomed, it's not overly landscaped, and it had an old Florida feel, not like Miami or even Sarasota.
