My old 66 KW had a 4 X 4 two stick transmisson. Would start in 1 in the main box and 3 in the auxillary, then either shift to 2nd in the main box leaving the auxillary alone then shifting the back box to 4, them main box to 3 and back box to 3, then back box to 4. Next main box to 4 and back box to 2, then 3 and finally 4. Only time I would use 1 in the back box was if I could get over a small hill without shifting the front box. I’ve just started a 6x4 project truck ... got her home this weekend and working on getting her running and road worthy. One box is the main
And the other box is the auxiliary.
If it's a 5 x 4.....
1 gear has 4 ####s,
Then 2nd has 4 shifts
And so on.
The truck is too practice
