Can someone please inform me how daylight saving time is correctly marked in your log book as well as how it affects your actual drive/rest hours ? Thanks, I have seen quite a bit of informative information here

I've actually talked to a couple DOT people while being treated to a complimentary inspection at a weigh station, and I've never gotten a concrete answer.
Personally, I just log whatever time my watch actually says, and then in the remarks section on the bottom of your log, I denote the time change. Haven't been called to the carpet on it yet. -
Go to page two of this section down at the bottom of the page for a post by soon2btrucking from a week or two ago. Good luck!

Just put flag on the bottom stating day light savings time.

in the spring, it works the other way, you will still be taking a 10 hour break, but your log will need to show an 11 hour break.
hope this makes it at least as clear as mud. -
When does daylight savings time start??? I know its soon right

Sunday November 2nd is the day!

Just to throw a monkey wrench into the mix, I'm split breaking tonite. After my break, I am eligible to drive til 0445 tomorrow morning (November 6 2001).
Shall I just pull over at 2AM then wait for an hour and proceed as if it is still 2AM? -
In your case, Scottie, since Swift's computers can't see the time change, yes, I would. If you drive through and log what everybody's clock will be saying, you will get a questionable speed. If you log it as if the time change didn't happen, as one poster above said, your logs will not match your QC and it could earn you a falsification.
For you and all Swifties, best to park for an hour.scottied67 Thanks this.
