shifting eaton fuller 10 speed

    We've got one, it's a POS! I've only driven it a couple times and it is kind of picky about where it'll fall out when trying to upshift like I do (without the clutch). You need to just get in it and drive it a little bit to find out where the sweet spot is. Mine is 2004 9900 with an ISX Cummins and I upshift it around 1500-1600 RPM. I let it fall to about 1000 to downshift and drop 2 at one time to let the jakes help slow me down. You may already realize this since you mentioned you were pulling an empty, but you're going to run into trouble trying to upshift at 1000 with a heavy load on your back climbing a hill.
