Hey guys this was probably mentioned on this forum before but i cant find any info on it. Heres my situation im 21 and already have my class a cdl. I have 1 moving violation on my 3 year record but a few before that that are like 4-5 years old are they going to cause me problems geting on with a company. Most companies say no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years. Any advise is greatly appreciated thanks.:biggrin_25519:

Tell the truth on your application whatever you do. It's suicide if you lie and get caught. It's just not worth the gamble. If they turn you down then go on to the next company. You can look at most companies on the internet and they will specify what they accept for violations.

It also depends on what type of violations you have. Anything over 15 mph speeding is a problem with most companies. You just have to go out and apply. But just remember that if you try to cover up a violation and they find out you might as well throw your CDL away and look for another field to work in.

Most companies can only pull a 3 yr mvr report in most states they have to have your permission or pay extra for a 5 or 10 yr
If you tell the truth and be upfront then u should be fine with 1 on your record just so long as it is not a wreckless driving offense of over 15 mph over the posted limit

A minor speeding ticket or seatbelt violation should have no baring on you .. Unless it's wreckless then u may have a problem

    Be upfront don't fudge nothing

My advise is pull your 3 yr mvr first just to see what shows up...
