Hi
Ok...
What CLEAN MVR really means:
A. No DUI, accidents, hits-and-runs etc. or
B. No speeding, "stop sign", "red lights" tickets and other 'minor' violations
???
ps. My potential employer asks for a clean mvr. I have 1 speeding ticket (two points) and 1 stop sign ticket ( one point),both from two years ago, which are paid for. And I worry that this disqualifies me from getting a driving job. Even if an attorney could wipe the points for tickets out from my record, I think the entries themselves of those tickets would still be left on the record. So If I would to show this 'cleaned' by a lawyer mvr I think it would still be considered to be non-clean.
Or am I wrong?
Thanks a lot

Typically, a "clean" MVR means that there are no convictions for violations of any traffic citation on the report. If you have convictions within the period that the employer requires to be "clean", then you probably do not meet the requirements that they have.
However, because one person's version of a "clean" MVR can vary, all can be cleared up by simply asking the prosepctive employer if your violations are a problem.
All that can transpire from that point is a simple, "Yes" or "No". -
hello turbo i recieved my dac report it all looks good but i did have a speeding ticket about 2 years ago 74/55 19 miles over i went to court and they said anyone with speeding ticket under 20 over can go to traffic school so i jumped on that on my dac report its on there but it shows dismissed do you think employers reading that dac are going to be hesitint to hire me even though its no conviction but its on there?

Hi
Thanks for the helpful reply.
ps.
Yeah, as I thought, the convictions can be dismissed with attorneys help but the record will probably still reflect that at some point in the past Ive had some convictions.
But its best, as you said, just to call the employer and ask if it matters.
Thanx

I'm not sure where you live, so I can't answer completely all of your questions regarding your situation or whether or not you will have an assigned truck. I can offer that most all of the long haul drivers that live outside of the normal commuting distances of a terminal are assigned trucks. Peddle and local drivers slip seat, for the most part.
I do have an assigned truck and I do take it home, but this is because I live too far from any of the terminals, but work within the LTL division and a regular traffic lane, where getting me home under a load each week is possible. -
hello TT i went and got my mvr and its not even on it i got a 7 year print out and only thing on it is a ticket 5 years ago for 62/55 kinda wierd dac has that other 74/55 dismissed but dac doesnt have this one ?

Keep in mind that DAC and MVR reports are different. Also that your local MVR may not reflect the same info as your state ran MVR.

but shouldnt dac have picked up both tickets?
