Re: No jobs!!!

try a local beer or soda delivery company... but with 2 felonies you'll be lucky to get on anywhere. CDL licenses have become more difficult to get in today's high security world.

You may want to find an attorney to see if you can have the felonies expunged. I had a friend that did this.

whatever you do, DO NOT GIVE UP. keep trying. maybe try and get a job in the warehouse doing forklift work. from there, the employer will see that you show up for work everyday, keep your "nose clean", and do as told. a lucky break can then come at anytime, besides, if you have to wait an additional 2 years, by then you would be established as a current employee, maybe from there you can get your training.

try these places, NEMF, Old Dominion, Overnite, or any other LTL carrier, as they are always looking for forklift operators/dock workers, and some are union wages as well. hey, its a "foot in the door" at least......and a paycheck....

Re: lie?

To lie on a employment application is grounds for immediate dismissal by most companies....and they do check, thats why trucking companies list things like DUI and felony convictions with a time frame.
