Change of Plans. So I was supposed to be going to C-1 little rock on August 24th for PAM. Well I told my Driver Agent that I had to push the date back a week because I had something come up that week and I have to be home for it. Well she calls back and says now there not wanting to hire me. I'm not mad or anything, so I'm just taking my punches and going on. Now My question is who else has Company Paid CDL training? I know that they aren't very appealing but i'm ok with that.

| Yeah, one driver training course only charged $1,200 if you pay out of your own pocket. If you go through a company training program, you sign a 1 year agreement with that company. If your employment ends within the 1 year, you owe the company up to $5,000.

I can see why they un-hired you. You can't even make it to orientation without wanting to go home. Trucking companies have a business to run, if you understand that, you might make it in this biz.

Well since you know the story already. I guess I should let my son go through his surgery without his dad there. Now that I think about it I didn't ask why I was un-hired. I'm not an idiot. Well I do want to thank you for telling me that trucking was a business would have never guessed.

Hubby getting ready to go work for Pam. He is a 30 year driver and has seen alot of things this past 2 years has really been bad job wise and he took a job for pay check so we could have income comeing in and pay bills, some jobs were temp and then he tried a few trucking jobs that were a horror show at best. Now he has unstable work history of 5 jobs the past 2 years and no one wants to touch him, he has kept a clean driving record, no points on license, no time in prision, this deal with stable work history is what is killing him getting a job for a descent employer. So I know he will not like Pam he needs to suck it up and stay put for a couple years at least, what kinds of things does he need to be prepared for going to orintation? and the company in general? Thanks
